Stainless Steel Spray

So what if it's a week before my induction date...I am pretty sure I am still nesting; when I am not napping that is.

My mother always kept our house REALLY clean. But for some reason, that I never understood, she never wanted stainless steel appliances. I, for one, am in love with them. Or, was in love with them. When we decided to build our house, the appliances were the one thing I knew exactly what I wanted. I needed stainless steel. After living there for a week I was perplexed. WHY could I not keep these suckers clean!? Every little thing made them look like we had them for 10 years. Luckily, when we got our water softener installed the stains were reduced, but no matter what spray I used, I got nasty gross streaks!

Now, it's evident that I like natural everything as much as possible. ESPECIALLY while I am pregnant. I didn't want to intoxicate my poor infant with chemical cleaners. So, I tried to buy some natural ones that were specifically made for stainless steel. I won't tell you the brand because so far I have liked everything else this company has to offer, but their stainless steel spray was a mega FAIL!!!!

So today I was looking at the fridge while eating lunch and I was just beside myself with how gross it looked and I decided I needed to take action.

Let me just say: SOMETIMES LESS IS MORE!

This spray I created, that worked quite well, has two ingredients and some water. I am so annoyed I didn't think of it before. Like, so mad. I wanted to cry with how well it worked.

Here it is:
Cause I know you wanted to see it surrounded by flowers for a visual flair. ;)

This is my favorite brand of lemon essential oil. :) Don't tell, but I've tried doterra's lemon to shine up my glass top stove...Didn't love it...this brand worked like a charm.
SO SIMPLE!

This spray couldn't have been any easier to make. Especially if you already have lemon essential oil and vinegar.

Now, I know you all want to see it at work, AMIRIGHT?!

Brace yourself...

BEFORE

It shames me to tell you that I had wiped down this fridge only days before I took these pictures...Its such a beautiful fridge and has so much potential. :'(

AFTER

It's obviously not perfect but in my opinion from all the other natural green cleaners I have tried, It's pretty darn close!

I naturally attracted my entire kitchen with it after. I didn't realize how much stainless steel I had. :)

Happy, Healthy, Healing (and natural chemical free cleaning!)

All Natural Disinfectant

I have an unhealthy obsession with Lysol wipes. Why must they make my life so easy? My unhealthy obsession has made me question them being healthy in and of themselves...Sadly, I already knew the answer.

Boo!!! Dumb wipes!

Growing up, my mom always used rags to wipe down the counters. When the rags got old or when they weren't rung out properly, they would get this stench that was comparable to...Oh, gosh...comparable to nothing I've ever smelled. the smell still makes me sick to think about.

Suffice it to say, I was not about to use rags as my way of cleaning once I wiped the evil Lysol wipes out of my life. (Did you see what I did there? Ha!)

Moving on; I have been studying the benefits of essential oils lately and I decided I would make an anti-bacterial cleanser with them to replace my ever beloved wipes. Judge me all you want you little tiny-carbon-footprint people...but I won't give up my paper towels. I WON'T!

Guys, I can't tell you how excited I was with how well this worked. And to top it off, I'm not afraid of what it's doing to my skin or my brain while I'm using it! I even put together a little test sample video if you you want to see for yourself how well it works, CLICK HERE!

What I didn't record was going into the water closet (AKA Toilet area) and recording, under the black light, the green germs disappearing AS I SPRAYED. The Husband came home from work and I was literally giddy. It took about .2 seconds after I sprayed my Magical oil mixture for the germs under the black light to disappear. MEGA STOKED!!!

To make this MAGICAL mixture you will need:
1-4 C water (depending on how you you like your potency)
15-20 drops Lemon
15-20 drops Tea Tree Oil (only my favorite oil of all time!)
15-20 drops Dragons Breath (exclusively a Natures Fusions oil and one of this mixes main germ killers)
1-4 TBSP white vinegar (if you use one cup water use one TBSP vinegar. if you use 4 cups water use 4 TBSP vinegar etc.

add mix to a spray bottle and start sanitizing!! I LOVE THIS MIX. If you can't tell, I am very enthused!

Happy, Healthy, Healing (and CLEANING)!!!

Product review: Nature's Fusions Peppermint Oil

This stuff right here...saved my life today.
I think it's pretty common knowledge that peppermint oil aids in nausea. I usually inhale it when I have colds. It helps open my nasal passage. ;)
HOWEVER, I had no idea it helps with burns until I acquired some of this Nature's Fusions brand. The genius behind this put the uses right on the bottle. Duh.
Heard of doterra? Yes? Well it's time to get over that hype. I love natures fusions and it's soooo much cheaper. I haven't noticed a difference in the quality at all.

This morning I burnt my hand on the skillet while making pancakes...ouch. I literally ran to my oils and put some peppermint on. It makes sense...it's a very "cold" oil. Calmed it right down.

Then, making dinner I pulled a cookie sheet out of the oven with spaghetti squash on it, didn't realize how heavy it was, wasn't prepared, and the cookie sheet tilted and hit the palm of my hand. Again, ouch. My husband ran to grab the burn cream from the first aid kit and dropped some on the burn...it only intensified. I quickly rubbed it off and then grabbed my trusty natures fusions oil and gave it a quick rub. It's been maybe 15 minutes and I can't feel a thing...

Usually burns bug me for at least a few hours after...and this was a BAD burn.

I'm not lying. This stuff is so good. :) I barely have a mark.

About three minutes after the burn...⬆️⬆️

Right this moment. ⬆️⬆️
*update* this⬆️⬆️ is my hand an hour after the burn...this is a must in the kitchen...

You can find Nature's Fusion oils (for about half the price of doterra) at Good Earth (Utah) or, online, at http://www.naturesfusions.com

Forget memberships and downlines and up lines and referrals and whatever. If all you want is the quality oil to help self heal yourself and your family, I've found your gold. :)

Happy healthy healing!! (For less!)
